Inspirational quotes are a great start, but you really need to do something with the messages they offer, otherwise they are just a pleasant way to pass a few minutes in your day.  Here are some good ones to start your day with. (Courtesy of addictedtosuccess.com) I have often found that an inspirational quote can lift me from a dip in my normally positive outlook.  But I always try to do something with the input it has given me, rather than plough on and let the moment pass.  It is important to remember that we can look at situations from a positive or negative angle and in my experience, the outcome can be shaped by expecting the best of results.  As Abraham Lincoln said: “We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.”  I think that is a perfect way of summing this up.  It makes a difference to the aura that surrounds you and either way, it’s infectious and I know which I would prefer to be recognised for.
