Improving your presentation
Often, with today’s busy schedule, it is easy to justify to ourselves that we don’t have time to reflect on our past – in particular, our last presentation or pitch. And yet, the ideal time to learn and improve is whilst the recipients’ reactions are still clear in your mind. Harvard Business Review captured the essence of this really succinctly and well in their recent Management tip. Click here to read it. It will take no more than a couple of minutes and hopefully, will encourage you to remember this when you are leaving your next meeting which involved you presenting. As the old phrase goes, if you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll get the results you’ve always got – and no better. We all need to strive to continually improve, so we don’t get sidelined by others that internalise these kind of lessons.
