Company
Koru was formed in 2002, initially to provide totally independent advice to clients seeking to introduce or develop Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
The hoped for sales productivity gains from CRM frequently do not emerge because companies are sold and buy software technology rather than matching system needs to company strategy and culture. Koru's independent expertise helped clients to overcome this problem.
Interestingly however, we found that the issues of sales productivity, revenue and profit growth have little to do with what CRM software is acquired. Drawing on our many years practical experience of sales and sales management, our engagements now focus much more on sales strategy, sales capability, sales channel development and sales operations. Sales improvement and profit acceleration for clients, based on simple and practical sales tools and techniques is now the core of Koru's business model.
Over the past twenty years or so ever more sophisticated techniques have been devised to reduce or manage costs. Whilst the benefits of cost management have become apparent to businesses, the point has now been reached where many businesses can no longer undertake cost cutting, and this fact is recognised both by the executives themselves, and by their professional advisers. There is now only one way to go - increase revenues .
Our research and experience identified two areas that would benefit from our services:
1. Organisations striving to improve profits without having to cut costs.
2. Organisations wanting to maximise the value of their business for sale, merger, or acquisition.
Based on many years practical experience of how to improve sales, Koru has developed an approach and tools focused on increasing revenue and hence growing profits when coupled with a prudent cost management regime.
This fresh and unique approach is generating a great degree of interest as companies realise the opportunities for cost reduction and cost management are dramatically reducing, leaving them no alternative but to imcrease sales in order to improve profits.
